Phra Somdej Hum-Zon (永不贫穷) – BE2538
Wat Man Wichai, Ayutthaya
This sacred Phra Somdej Hum-Zon amulet was consecrated in B.E. 2538 (1995) at Wat Man Wichai, Ayutthaya, under the revered guidance of Luang Phor Mee (4 March B.E. 2454 – 26 January B.E. 2543 / 1911–2000).
Luang Phor Mee was one of the most respected monks of his generation. He was a distinguished disciple of Luang Phor Parn of Wat Bang Nom Kho, recognized as one of the Nine Great Thai Saints. In addition, he studied Dhamma and sacred arts under other eminent masters, including Luang Phor Jong of Wat Nak Tang Nok, Luang Phoo Chaem of Wat Ta Gon, as well as Luang Phor Kob and Luang Phor Opasri. This illustrious lineage firmly established Luang Phor Mee’s spiritual authority and the sanctity of his consecrated amulets.
The title “Hum-Zon” holds the auspicious meaning of “never poor.” In Thai Buddhist belief, it conveys blessings of abundance, financial stability, and freedom from misfortune. Devotees venerate this amulet for its power to attract prosperity, ensure sufficiency in life, and protect against hardship.
This edition is acknowledged as the second most popular batch of Phra Somdej Hum-Zon, regarded as the spiritual successor to the Roon Reak edition produced in B.E. 2507 (1964). Today, it is highly esteemed not only for its protective and prosperous virtues but also as a treasured item among serious collectors.
