The event saw the involvement of esteemed monks from nine different countries. This particular batch of Phra Kring was created to honor the 72nd birthday of Somdet Phra PhuttharKosajarn.
曼谷瓦素塔佛寺药师七佛
曼谷瓦素塔寺是泰国首间督造药师佛的佛寺，因此每当提起泰国药师佛，所有收藏泰国佛牌的人都会想到瓦素塔寺。
为了庆祝僧王Somdet Phra PhuttharKosajarn的七十二岁生日，这期的药师佛特别举行了盛大的开光法会。法会期间，恭请了来自九个国家的高僧大德前来加持，其中包括了南传、北传和藏传的高僧，为这期药师佛进行开光加持。
