瓦拉康第一期铜制崇迪（佛历2453）是一尊集合多位高僧的慈悲念力制作而成。当时瓦拉康佛寺把铜片分发给多间著名佛寺要求高僧在铜片上画符念咒。这些铜牌在各大佛寺念经多大三个多月，之后才回到瓦拉康佛寺。
之后，瓦拉康主持把画好在铜片上的符法经咒全部融入崇迪模具中来制作前所未有的铜质崇迪。因为当时的制作技术没有那么先进，所以很多制作出来的崇迪都沾粘在模具中，必须用铁锤敲打才能把佛牌从模具中取出。所以这一期的崇迪命名为Langkon。（Kon在泰语的意思是铁锤）
之后，瓦拉康恭请多位当代非常厉害的法师为这一期的崇迪开光加持。当中就包括：

Wat Rakhang Phra Somdej Lang Kon (BE2453) is also known as Phra Somdej Nur Loha Phasom. It is small in size and handy. Well proven for protection against dangers, invulnerable to body harm, full protection against evil & magical charms, securing good metta and luck in business and personal life.
During that era, Wat Rakhang distributed metal sheets to many temples and requested the monks to inscribe magical drawing (Yant) onto the metal sheet and go through chanting ceremony of about 3 months before returning all back to Wat Rakhang.
After consolidate all the metal sheets, another consecration ceremony was carried out at Wat Rakhang to melt all the metal sheets (Takruts) and make into the form of Somdej. Some of the amulets that stick together or stick to the mould was actually hammered out. Thats why the name langkon. Kon is hammer in thai.
